WEISSBARTH AND PARTNERS Ltd was founded in April 2009, during the restructuring of FIMA business system process and splitting of mother company FIMA Group. With valuable experience, gained through FIMA, as one of the leading domestic financial groups in Croatia with branches in the region, newly founded company, managed by Liljana Weissbarth, took over (directly or indirectly) management over eight companies of former FIMA, three of which are domestic (FIMA FAS Ltd, FIMA RED Ltd and FIMA Perfectus Ltd) and five foreign (FIMA FAS Ltd Beograd, FIMA FAS Ltd Sarajevo, FIMA FAS Ltd Skopje, FIMA Perfectus Ltd Sarajevo and FIMA Perfectus Ltd Beograd), as well as joint venture company with partners from Great Britain, FIMA Infrastructure Ltd on Cyprus.

Abovementioned companies (which changed names according to business segment – WEIP Advisory, WEIP Real Estate, WEIP Perfectus and WEIP Infrastructure), their human resources and “know how”, transferred to WEISSBARTH AND PARTNERS, enabled continuance of operating in financial sector, namely providing service relating to business advisory and capital markets, real estate management, factoring, infrastructure project financing, and in future – venture capital.

WEIP Advisory Ltd was founded in July 1999 as FCT Ltd. From its beginnings, the company was involved in providing consulting services and analysis of securities, in cooperation with sister companies of FIMA, especially brokerage house and investment fund management company. By the end of 2004 FORTIS ADVISORY Ltd is merged to FCT, which strengthened its market position and the list of the references of the company. After the merger, the name of the company is changed to FIMA FORTIS ADVISORY Ltd reflecting that it is a part of one of the leading domestic financial institutions in the country. In October 2006, the company changed name once more, to FIMA FAS Ltd, and started expansion in the region by opening branches in Beograd, Sarajevo and Skopje. Finally, in September 2009, as part of FIMA restructuring, the company and its sister companies came under WEISSBARTH AND PARTNERS Ltd’s management and changed name to WEIP Advisory Ltd, which is current official name of the company.

WEIP Perfectus Ltd was founded in January 2005, as PERFECTUS Ltd, in the process of operational growth of FIMA, with the aim of providing additional services – factoring, compensations and receivables trading. Due to rapid development and operational growth, one year later, the company increased its capital. In December 2007, the company changed name to FIMA PERFECTUS, to be more recognizable and makes another capital increase, strengthening its market position in factoring segment. During 2008, Perfectus became member of international chain of factoring companies, FCI. In July 2009, as part of FIMA restructuring process, together with sister companies in the region, it came under WEIP’s management and changed name to WEIP Perfectus Ltd, which is current official name of the company.

WEIP Real Estate Ltd was founded in February 2006, as FIMA RED Ltd. From the beginning, the company was in the service of FIMA system and took leading part in management of real estate in the portfolio of other sister companies. The company also provides services of project management, new building designing and building renovation. As well as other mentioned companies, during FIMA restructuring process, in July 2009, it changes name to WEIP Real Estate Ltd, which is current official name of the company, and comes under WEIP management

WEIP Infrastructure Ltd was founded on Cyprus (EU member) as FIMA Infrastructure in November 2008. After ownership changes, Liljana Weissbarth got the controlling package of 50%, while remaining 50% is owned by Mintamax Services Ltd from Great Britain.
